Top 5 things students say they want from their schools about AI

Whether it's a student listening session or an impromptu conversation with a high school kiddo, I am always curious to know their thoughts about AI.

Here is what I have discovered:

✨ Students crave clear and consistent guidelines on AI usage

✨ Students are asking for specific examples of appropriate and inappropriate AI usage.

✨ Students want instruction on how to use AI effectively and responsibly.

✨ Students want transparency on how their teachers and admin are using AI

✨ Students want open discussions about AI's role in education and society. They value AI in supporting their learning and creativity- not replacing them.
