Make that money, honey!

Teacher expertise is valuable—and it should be paid accordingly. 💰💅

I don’t typically promote individual EdTech companies, but one thing I DO support is paying teachers for their time and respecting their expertise.

Teachers are constantly asked to provide feedback, test new tools, and share their insights—often without compensation.

That’s why I’m happy to share an opportunity where teachers can get paid for their time while sharing their perspectives.

👇 Check it out below! 👇

"StudyBuds is a practice application developed out of the Teaching Lab Studio by fellow Adam Franklin. Instead of being taught by AI tutors, students are empowered to teach and partner with AI characters themselves (see more at studybuds.org).

Early user testing has shown promising potential for impact on engagement and learning across 5th-10th classrooms, especially in science and social studies classrooms.

Adam is looking to partner with 10 teachers interested in paid testing opportunities and can offer a $200 Amazon gift card in exchange for no more than 3 hours of your time.

The request would involve:
30-minute intro call to demo the platform and understand your instructional context
30 to 60 minutes for you to plan 2 relevant StudyBuds modules for your classroom
30 to 60 minutes for you to test those modules with your students
30-minute follow-up call to debrief how the test

The first 10 5th-10th grade educators to express interest in testing will receive an email from Adam with next steps."

If you’re interested, I’d encourage you to jump on this quickly! Email Adam directly at [email protected] !
